new superman costume (action comics 1)

havent posted in a while but im back with something i am pretty much in love with ITS SUPERMANS NEW COSTUME FROM ACTION COMICS RELAUNCHED NEW 52 i am reffering to the t shirt look superman is jumping around metropolis in instead of flying YESS i like the fact superman is going back to how he was before i was born ive seen the 40s supermans attitude and i liked it but this is the costume for those of u who dont kno

so anyway ive ordered or already got everything i need for this so soon ill have my very own with patches on the knees and everything aha CYA ROUND GUYS

cap suit

another ring + a battery this time !

the ring is fimo and the battery is a polystyrene ball and two plant pots i sprayed everything the same colour green :D

green lantern power ring easy as an energy construct pie

okay so using six 1p coins, a hot glue gun, some card ,a neon green sticker label and a pen i made a rough mocking up of a green lantern firstflight ring and i hope to pursue this again as of tomorrow if i can get to the local suppliers again if not iwill probably reattempt it closer to the release date of the new movie :)

i just went for it and im happy with the result

i looked on the tron wiki this morning and i ended up on the subject of bostrumites from tron evolution so i went for it and got on the bus to the town near me and bought every thing at about 1130 am and finished by about 1600 pm heres what ive got for it

 Note : i will be adding el wire to this when i receive more funds for now (not so) reflective tape will have to do

okay so this guy is from the tron legacy prequel book tron betrayal which i believe is set before tron evolution but anyways i reeli like thisguys costume design wht do all you guys and girls think ? :)

okay so here isthe back story to my troniverse character imagine if tron and flynn had both escaped clu and tron didnt become rinzler well that alot of imagining but hey ho if clu still needed a right hand man instead of rinzler then that would be me however i will be showing my face instead of wearing a helmet because my full time occupation of the troniverse would be GLADIATORIAL CHAMPION :)

okay i didnt do blue and at the moment it doesnt light up but im gonna get some reflective tape for the blade but heres what i got so far ,, the reason for not doing blue is because im makin the suit too which i will post pics of and the suitis kinda my own design/sam flynns body piece but it will be lit with orange and for the sword i might give it some reflective tape :)

i tried the niteowl belt with foam board and the same metallic gold card i used on part of the hammer now i wanna make a baton light sword from tron legacy like in the posters of quorra it can be found in vids on youtube  just type in tron legacy club fight but heres a pic to keep you guys goin ;)

okay so i did a hammer so for the time being im gonna leave the movie hammer (i think) and move on to find another prop to make so if theres any suggestions just leave a comment :)

dropping the ball !

okay so my gold plating design didn't turn out as i would have hoped so i had  to salvage the project as much as possible ,,the main problem i think was the complicated net however its still in an okay way and i will be putting it on a shelf   as the first in a line of many mjolnirs and other props and weapons to come :) happy trails and i will post next when the movie mjolnir kicks off on saturday the 21st of may :)

handle patterns and textures

hi there while im waiting on gold covering for the head i started some work on the handle not in a literal sense but more on paper heres the ideas ive got atm im thinkin blue with the bottom red texture :)

slight hiccup

okay so due to a slight cash flow problem friday the 20th of may will be the new ETA of the original design golden mjolnir and saturday will still be the start date of the movie mjolnir as for the comics version im still not quite sure but it will probably be within the week after that as i will have officially started my study leave :)

hammer head 3d design

hiya there guys and gals thisis what i want the head to look like finished except it will have a chrome look to it ,just thought id put it here to keep an interest and hopefully by tomorrow afternoon i could be finishing this bad boy off once and for all then i will probably move on to the movie version :)

mjolnir original custom halfway pics

hi there this is the first blog entry and what better way to kick it off than by showing every one the halfway pics of mjolnir the hammer of thor now i was going FOR (sorry had to be done) a movie version however as the project evolved i decided that my first hammer would be of my own design and then i will be making a semi accurate movie version :) so here are the pics

The head of the hammer itself is made of insulation foam doubled up and sanded down and when i get the card in i am going to give it a gold coating (purely because it is my version but for the movie version i will make it in a chrome silver ) which should look pretty damn cool
